Alligators can swim very well
with the help of their tails and they also use
their webbed feet.
They spend the most of their life in the water.
Thier tail is half the animal's length.
Alligators belong to the family Crocodilia,
which includes the alligators, caïmans,
crocodiles and gharials.
They can live about 30 to 35 years in the wild
and up to 50 years in captivity.
