Giraffes
are one of the world's tallest mammals. You
know them for their long necks, longs legs
and spotted patterns. They also have small
horns on the top of their heads.
Giraffes can be found in central, eastern
and southern Africa in the Savannah where
they can find forests. You can find them in
groups of 12-15.
The neck of the
giraffe is used to express emotion.
When the giraffe is angry, it will lower its
neck until it is almost horizontal!
It stretches its neck and raises its nose
in the air in submission.
Sometimes, you can see birds on their heads.
They like the birds because they eat the bugs
that live in them.
