mouse was walking in the forest
one day. It had been told to make
a path through the trees, and
it was wondering how to do it.
Suddenly, along came an elephant.
He took the mouse by the hand
and they went thundering through
the forest at top speed. Trees
in their way were pushed aside.
The mouse looked back at the trail
of destruction, and his eyes grew
wide. “Wow!” he said
to the Elephant, “look what
we did!”
That’s
a little bit like the boy who
gave Jesus his packed lunch.
If he had been told to feed
all those people himself he
wouldn’t have known where
to start. But he gave his lunch
to Jesus, and Jesus fed everyone
with it.
