I want to see God but where do you get to see him? Do you want to see him? because I do!
I think most people would like to see God!
Sadly, we won’t be able to look at God until we get to Heaven.
We don’t have any photos of God either! but we do have the Bible. The Bible says A LOT about God, and tell us what he is like. He is very wise; he knows everything – even what will happen in the future. He is also very powerful, flooding the Earth is just one of the amazing things he has done!
Does your bedroom give clues about who you are? The music you like? The games you play? The football team or pop star you like best? In the same way, when we look at the World around us we have lots that shows us what God is like.

If God's talking to you, how do you know it's really him and it's not just your mind?
What a good question! There were probably people around in Biblical times who asked that very same question!
In the Bible God speaks through lots of different ways; sometimes he gave people visions and dreams, sometimes Angels came with a message, and he used the Holy Spirit. This is as well as prophecies and even his own voice!
When you have a thought or a feeling inside you that you think might be from God you have to check it against what the Bible says. You also have to ask yourself why you want to do something, is it because God wants you to or because you want to?
God has an amazing way of doing stuff, if you were thinking about doing something or speaking to someone because you think God has told you to, you will often find a chance to do it, or come across that person much earlier than you thought you would!
Keep trusting in God and praying about it and God will make sure you get the message!

Can God be a king and a friend?
God is both almighty ( All Mighty ) and that he wants to be our friend.
It is difficult to imagine what God would look like ; the Bible uses lots of different pictures. Here are two :
King. If we were to meet a member of the Royal Family we would feel very nervous. We couldn't relax. We might feel awkward. Sometimes it's like that when we know God is speaking to us.
Friend : it's very different with friends. It is fun. We enjoy being with them and talking to them.
Right now, do you imagine God more as a friend or as a king ?

How old is God?
God is eternal and has always existed. He is not affected by time because He created it. He knows everything that ever has and ever will happen throughout all time. So He can never be taken by surprise!

The very first verse of the Bible begins with “In the beginning God…”
God is eternal! He wasn’t born, he didn’t come from anywhere, he was just right there at the beginning! He always has, and always will exist. It is hard to get our head around that because we are used to a start, middle and an end!

How can I stop submitting to the devils temptations because my friends do things that I don't want to do?
Being a Christian isn't always easy is it? Sometimes friends do things that look like much more fun and we know we shouldn't join in - even though we really, really want to!
It is ok to be tempted. The devil tried tempting Jesus when Jesus went into the desert. The important thing is not to give in to sin.
It helps to talk to God and tell him what is tempting us, he can make us stronger and when we remember God it is easier not to sin.
It is also easier to avoid temptation than fight it, so if you know your friends go somewhere to do something bad, don't go with them!

Why does the Church use 'Thy' and 'Thee'?
When the Bible was first translated into English the way people spoke was different to how it is now. So that we get the most out of the Bible, we can now also read it in a more modern form of English which sounds more like how we speak everyday. There are still some people and Churches who like the type of Bible which uses ‘Thy’ and ‘Thee’ which is why it can still be found today. That way everyone gets to understand and enjoy what God has to say!

Why can't we see God and Jesus?
God is so powerful and mighty we can’t look at him directly until we get to Heaven. We can see God’s work all around us though – we just have to know where to look! God created the whole universe, so when we look at the stars in the sky or a beautiful flower it reminds us how amazing God is! We can also see God in other people’s lives when they have chosen to follow Him. We cannot see the wind but we can see, hear and feel the difference it makes to the world around us!

If none of your friends are Christians, and you have tried ever so hard to make them become one and they were just not intrested what should you do?
It's great that you have tried telling your friends about Jesus. He shares your sadness when they don't seem to care. You can't force them to want to. Keep praying for them and loving them as you can. Ask them to share their worries and what they might like you to pray for. Pray for them regularly with your family and friends at Church and later ask how things are. Whatever you do, don't loose heart!
