The
first man, Adam, had plenty to do.
The garden he lived in was a bit like
a zoo.
It was packed full of animals, insects
and birds
Roaming around in flocks and herds.
Some were big, some were tiny, some
were wild, some were tame.
But Adam had the job of giving each
a name.
So he told all the creatures to get
themselves in fine
And then they came before him, one at
a time.
