It's lunch-time.
Jean has gone outside
to play with her friend, Sue.
They're giggling, chatting, line-dancing
in a line of two.
Grace looks on with envy
as they hop and turn.
The steps don't look too difficult.
She's sure that she could learn.
'Can I join in?' says Grace to Jean,
`I'll soon get the idea.'
But Jean thinks Grace would spoil things.
Her answer makes that clear.
`Not today,' she shakes her head.
`These steps are hard to follow.
We don't want to dance with you today.
Ask again tomorrow.'
