Now
Solomon is history -
defunct, departed, dead.
But anyone with a Bible
can read the things he said.
In Proverbs and the Song of Songs,
in Ecclesiastes too,
God still speaks through Solomon.
He speaks to me and you.
This poem teaches us that if we put
God first, He gives us the wisdom to make
good decisions and choices.
It is based on the Bible verse: Proverbs
9 v 10a
"Respect and obey the Lord! This
is the beginning of wisdom."
